Brought on by Studio Remains creative agency, I offered brand strategy support, competitive analysis, and production capabilities for the relaunch of Just Live. This wellness supplement and topical-based company came from a skate background and needed to move its core messaging into an active lifestyle space.

Co-owned by world-renowned athletes like Alex Morgan, Klay Thompson, Travis Pastrana, and Paul Rodriguez, we utilized the star strength of this small but mighty crew to get the word out to those interested in the new venture.

The challenge was clear: transition a brand with deep roots in skateboarding culture into the broader wellness space—where trust and communication is everything—while maintaining authenticity and leveraging the incredible roster of athlete owners.

The Approach

Brand Messaging & Strategy

I helped with overall brand messaging and guidance as Just Live navigated the transition into the wellness space. This involved repositioning the brand from its skateboarding origins to appeal to a broader active lifestyle audience while maintaining the authenticity that made it special.

Competitive Analysis

I put together comprehensive competitive analysis and suggested creative assets that would be needed to offer a robust launch into a specialty market of healing—where trust and communication is everything. Understanding the wellness landscape was crucial for positioning Just Live effectively.

Covid-Era Production Challenges

Since this was during Covid, creating content was difficult. I was able to assist with production on a local shoot with Travis Pastrana and Paul Rodriguez where we shot a gym scene along with studio assets that were meant to last a long time and be historical for the new brand.

The Alex Morgan Shoot

I then flew to Florida to produce and direct on-site a photoshoot with Alex Morgan since she was unable to travel. I worked with a photographer and videographer to get both action shots on the field, as well as studio assets that we set up in her garage! It was an incredible experience to work with Alex and capture content that would represent the brand's new direction.
